Evacuation orders have been lifted for communities along the Skeena and Kalum Rivers.
But increased water levels are still a concern, and have led to flooding in some areas.
Local drone operator Scoopeddad Drone was on the scene this week in New Remo, which is still on evacuation alert and got a little wet this week.
“A great night to be out checking the local flooding,” he says in a new drone video surveying the area.
The situation isn’t quite stabilized yet as far as flood risk.
“An evacuation order may need to be reissued as the situation unfolds as [The Regional District of Kitimat-Stikine] continues to monitor all areas,” the Terrace Standard reports.
