Deborah Jones chose journalism after working as a first aid attendant on Arctic bush planes, as a junior park naturalist, and student museum curator and zoologist. A writer and photographer, and lifelong learner, she grew up in Yellowknife, reported from throughout Canada, and explores BC from a Vancouver home shared with her husband and two Scottish collies.
